Right. A little bit about myself.
I’m Graham, I’m 27 and I live in Aberdeen, Scotland. I shave infrequently (usually around once a week on a purely recreational basis). I was born in Edinburgh but moved up to Aberdeen when I was 2 so I consider myself to be “adopted Aberdonian”. Various members of my family are up in Aberdeen: my mum, my dad and his wife and my brother. My sister lives down in Birmingham these days. I still haven’t been down to visit her yet, but I promise I will soon. Maybe.
I work as a software engineer/IT consultant/technical architect for a Canadian engineering company. Work is generally fairly interesting and I’ve managed a few trips away to Canada and the States. I was also living in Norway for a few months at the end of 2005/start of 2006, the result of which is that I can now count to 6 in Norwegian and say things like “shitvær”.
I seem to spend an inordinately large amount of my spare time pissing around on the internet, hence my decision to start writing some of it down. When I’m not doing that, I like to play with my Wii (yes, yes, very funny). Scott and I are currently trying to think up some rules for a WarioWare drinking game.
I’m currently renting a flat. I’d like to buy one but prices in Aberdeen are stupid. I’d also like to get a cat at some point, especially as I now know that I’m secretly Longcat.
